Biography of James Leeth
|
As a junior golfer, James excelled at the game winning more than 50 tournaments and matches in his junior career. He went on to play college golf at Shorter College for 4 years, opening his first golf driving range during his sophomore year in Chickamauga, GA.
After college, James began working at Windstone Golf Club as an assistant, followed by a short stint as head pro at the Quarry Golf Club before buying back his old driving range in Chickamauga. During this time, in 1996, James created Golf Soup to promote his driving range in Chickamauga, as well as the new range he had built in Trion, GA.
In 1999 James went to work on and built Arcadia Farms Golf Club in Chickamauga, GA. The following year, James reluctantly gave up Golf Soup to focus solely on the golf course. However, the golf course faltered and James began building houses. Now, after 7 successful years of building homes, he is getting back into the golf arena and bringing back Golf Soup!
